The LaGrange Art League is currently in need of volunteers to fill two vacancies in our organization. The success of the LGAL is dependent on all of us, it's members to make the league a success. So please, if you feel that you can help don't hesitate to contact us.

First
We are seeking to put together a team of members to edit and publish our monthly newsletter. The team will meet once monthly to design and put together our newsletter to be distributed to the membership. The newsletter is the LGAL's primary method of communicating with the membership, so this is really a vital position within our organization.

Second,
We are looking for a member volunteer to manage publicity for the Art League. This would involve notifying area newspapers and other media about happenings here at the LaGrange Art League. Please contact Karen Magin, kmagin@lagrangeartleague.org

Member Notices

The LaGrange Art League would like to invite ALL members to attend the PLANNING MEETING which is held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm in the gallery. This is the perfect way to find out what is happening in your Art League and a ideal forum to "let your voice be heard". All members are welcome.

The Plainfield Art League is looking for artists to participate in an art fair in plainfield. This is a great opportunity to display your work at a new venue and possibly make some new friends and sales. The following was "borrowed" from the Settlers park website. "Welcome to the Settlers’ Park Art Fair The Kiwanis Club of Plainfield, and the Plainfield Art League invite you to attend the Annual Settlers’ Park Art Fair to be held in Settlers’ Park, 24401 W. Lockport St, Plainfield. (Located behind Village Hall) This show is a production of the Kiwanis Club of Plainfield and the Plainfield Art League. 100% of after-cost proceeds go to Plainfield charities. The art fair is for fine arts and original work only. Artist must be present. Artists must refer to the Application and Rules section.
Settlers’ Park Art Fair is on Saturday June 7th and Sunday June 8th, 2008 from 10:00AM - 5:00PM."
