Putting Color in Perspective 2-Day WORKSHOP
Instructor: Jim Swanson
Dates: *Saturday July 14 and Sunday July 15
James Swanson is an Oil Painters of America Signature Artist, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society Award Winner, and American Impressionist Society member and a teaching artist. His work has been exhibited around the world in collections, museums and galleries. One of the main things people are attracted to in Jame's work is his unique use of color. In his 2-day workshop, July 14 & 15th, James will explain his method for his creative madness, from working with photos to his color recipes for things like skin and snow. You will learn about the nuances of oil paints like transparent vs. opaque ones, the use of student and hue colors, and how to paint air into your paintings. James will also be sharing his painting design thoughts and palette management throughout the workshop. This would be a good workshop for all levels, from beginning to advanced painters.
