- Glue sticks
- Scissors
- Utility knife, ruler, pencil
- A few assorted magazines for assignments in the sketch book (more images less advertising, I personal like National Geographic, home decorating and art magazines)
- 1 National Geographic, (from 1998 or resent, to create altered collage papers)
- Small spray bottle
- A few cosmetic sponges
- 2 sheets fine sandpaper-generic is fine.
- 1 Container for water
- 1 tub of baby wipes
- 1 roll of paper towels
- Roll of wax paper
- Small spiral black cover sketchbook
- Jar of Gloss medium by Golden- (don’t need for the first class)
- Gesso-(Small jar)
- A few paint brushes- 1” 2” assortment and small one for detailed work.
- Acrylic paints, assortment of colors, with white and black. Golden Fluids and craft paint work (fluids work great for stained tissue paper.)
- A few coated paper plates or form plates for mixing paint or tray like that.
- Found papers (old book pages, sheet music, old letters, ticket stubs, Kraft paper, maps etc.)
- Stamping material-things to stamp and print with on papers. rubber stamps, hand carved stamps or misc. stuff, optional but great to bring
- Please bring a plastic table cloth for the table, (dollar store kind)
- wood panels or canvas-will be needed we will discussion which one to use in class.
Instructor will provide, the use of tack irons, stamping material and tape, there is a $10.00 Material fee collected in first class for added materials the instructor will bring.
