Grants
Committee works with the La Grange Art League lead staff person to evaluate quarterly applications and decide award amounts for Teacher Mini Grants, Need-based Student Scholarships, College Scholarships, and Grants to Organizations.
Events and Programming
Committee works with LGAL lead staff person to coordinate artist programs, special events, member and volunteer parties, and organization fundraisers, including Starts with Art.
IDEA
Committee and LGAL staff work to support a full creative life for all, the LGAL is committed to championing policies and practices that empower a just, inclusive, and equitable community. Through work of the IDEA committee (Inclusion/Diversity/Equity/Access), the LGAL will ensure its programs and services are inclusive, culturally equitable, and accessible to all regardless of race/ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, religious beliefs or marital status.
Marketing and Membership
Committee works with LGAL lead staff person to set strategy in the areas of marketing to our local demographic as related to arts tourism. This group also develops strategies to grow and sustain membership.
Sponsorship and Fundraising
Committee works with LGAL lead staff person to evaluate, strategize and plan all aspects of fundraising, including sponsorships, planned giving, auctions, and development campaigns. This group also executes all elements of an auction including, but not limited to, acquisition of auction items, creation of process, and volunteer staffing for large-scale events such as Starts with Art.
Visual Arts
Advisory committee works with LGAL lead staff person to setup and facilitate special exhibits at the La Grange Art League and Gallery.
Workshops and Classes
Committe works with LGAL lead staff person to identify, coordinate, and administer workshops and classes at the La Grange Art League Gallery and throughout the community.
