Gamblin Cold Wax – 16 oz jar – available through online art stores.
Oil Paints – Professional grade oil paints such as Gamblin, Winsor Newton, Sennelier, Rembrandt or any other professional grade you prefer or have at home.
Squeegee/Scraper – only one is needed
– Messermeister silicone bowl scraper. (Recommended)
– Wilton silicone dough scraper
Optional – soft 4” Speedball brayer
4 – Gessoed Hardwood Boards, with a ¾ cradle or flat.
Ampersand Museum Series Claybord, Gessobord, or the Ampersand Artist Value Series.
Recommended sizes – 11 x 14, 12 x 12, or 12 x 16.
Multi-Media Artboard (5 pack) or Arches Oil Paper Pad, 9 x 12 or 11 x 14. These are papers made for oil paint.
Disposable Paper Palette – 12 x 16 or larger. You may also use freezer paper.
Roll of paper towels
Roll of wax paper
Roll of removable painters tape – either blue or green
Baby Oil – small bottle for clean up
Plastic rectangle table covering
Apron
Disposable Rubber Gloves – to protect your hands. I use Nitrile rubber gloves.
Optional – miscellaneous items for mark making (stencil, comb, textured wallpaper scrapes)
Unused Pizza Boxes or pop case bottoms to carry your wet paintings home in.

- 1 large tube of Titanium White
- 1 dark color: Black or Burnt Umber
- 3 or 4 of your favorite transparent and opaque colors. You can add more colors later.
