Our Event & Project Volunteers are essential in making our events and programs run smoothly—from gallery openings and artist receptions to community workshops, fundraisers, and more. Volunteers help with setup and cleanup, welcoming guests, check-in, wayfinding, distributing materials, and making sure everyone feels at home in our space. You may also lend a hand with special projects related to exhibitions, classes, and day-to-day gallery needs.

This is a great opportunity to meet new people, support the arts, and be part of a fun, creative community. Shifts are usually 2–4 hours and happen in the afternoons, evenings, or on weekends. We provide training and guidance so you feel confident and comfortable in your role.

Volunteer Commitment:

After attending a brief orientation (offered several times a year), we ask volunteers to sign up for at least two shifts per month for 6–12 months—or whatever works best with your schedule.

Do you take pride in a clean, welcoming space? The La Grange Art League is looking for detail-oriented volunteers to help us keep our gallery, classrooms, and common areas neat, organized, and inviting for visitors, students, and artists alike.

As a Facility & Gallery Care Volunteer, you'll assist with light cleaning tasks such as wiping down surfaces, tidying classroom supplies, straightening gallery displays, emptying trash bins, and helping refresh our shared spaces. Your support helps create a positive, professional environment where creativity can flourish.
