Course Overview:

Join us for a dynamic and hands-on sketchbook collage class where imagination, texture, and storytelling come together in bold and unexpected ways. Over the course of several weeks, we’ll dive into mixed media techniques—layering paper, paint, drawing, and found materials—to create vibrant, abstract compositions that span across your sketchbook spreads.

Each week, a new prompt will guide our exploration and inspire fresh ways to see and interpret the world around us. From the rhythm of city buildings to the delicate structure of flowers, the chaos of a kitchen countertop to the character of your street, we’ll abstract and reimagine the ordinary into layered, expressive art.

This class is perfect for artists of all levels who want to loosen up, experiment, and develop a deeper connection with their sketchbook practice. Bring your curiosity, your favorite materials, and a willingness to play.
