Supply fee for paint and other consumables: $35 payable at first class. You may bring your own encaustic paints and oil sticks for a reduced supply fee of $10 to cover other sharded materials for paper making, etc.
 
Supply list for all sessions:
 
4-5 panels to work on depending on size. Nothing larger than 12”x12” Flat will work, but cradled panels are easier to work on. Should be wood or Ampersand brand encausticbords
 
One pack of the 6x6 flat (Ampersand) encausticbords for trial and test work.
 
2 lbs of encaustic medium. R&F or Enkaustikos brands
 
Encaustic paints, various colors you like to work in, same with the oil sticks (you only need to bring these if you are not planning to pay the full supply fee and use shared materials
 
1” 3M Blue tape
 
A notebook
 
Apron
 
A spray bottle for water
 
A roll of Viva or blue shop towels
  
Scissors
 
Thumb drive with your photos for printing at class (we will discuss the week prior how to prep)
 
Optional:
papers to collage with no acrylic coated. I will also have some to use.
  
Dried pressed plants to embed
 
There will be other optional materials you may wish to bring, we will talk about it each class prior
