All art doesn’t need to be big, some of the most interest works are done on a small scale. Wood blocks cut to the sizes of 2 1⁄2 x 4 inches will bring our study of composition into focus. When working in a series, it helps to guide, strengthen and bring new light to our understanding of composition. Students will alter the surface of found papers and prepare them for the wooden block substrates. Sharing the experience of Collage and Assemblage 3-dimensional objects will be introduced.
