This class explores some of the mixed media side of working with the encaustic medium. We will discuss the safety and the archival sides of mixing materials. We will also make some of our own papers to incorporate into final works. Experience with encaustic is not needed for this class, however, prior art making experience will be helpful. $30 due at first class for teacher supplied materials, see supply list for remaining supplies.
