Getting in Touch with Your Creative Genes - Winter
Instructor: Carolyn Abramofsky
Dates: Jan 12 (6 weeks)
Time: Tuesdays 9am - 10:30am, first floor studio
This class is all about taking a spark of intuition and making a fire with your creativity! Everyone from beginners to advanced artists can put new life into their art making by exploring, experimenting and playing in the joy of making art and opening your right brain dimensions. Try different art techniques and mediums to get out of your rut and be inspired to create master pieces! We will start by discovering the art of Notan, Enso and the Expanded Square. Then, we will work with various types of supplies and techniques which may include Gellie printing, air dry clay, stencils and stamps.
Each class will start out with some simple, fun warmup exercises. Come with an open mind to explore what you need. This class uses exploration with no boundaries. It is not your typical “draw this picture” class.
