Julie will work with you to take your paintings beyond the reference photo by emphasizing composition, color, stroke, and texture. Learn to take advantage of the pastel medium for more expressive paintings. Bring your reference photos, but still life setups will be available as well. Weekly short demos will emphasize value, shape, color, and mark-making techniques. Lots of individual attention to help you develop your own personal style. Class is open for beginners through advanced painters.
