Collage the art of altering and gluing papers to the understanding of a good composition will be offered throughout this workshop. Working with our sketchbooks we will practice compositional exercises, using a viewfinder, magazines, and glue sticks. Students will gain the knowledge in their sketchbooks by using their own references for their collage paper making session on the second day. Staying with an abstract theme throughout this workshop the students will use a tack iron to heat fuse the papers onto watercolor paper or wood panels on the third and fourth day.
