Silk Painting - Three Styles - June 3 week session

Perfect for welcoming the spring! Learn how to paint your own spring silk scarves We will explore three styles of silk painting; Microwave Dyeing, Painting with Salt, and Shibori. Microwave dying creates easy, one-of-a-kind scarves with a rich blending of color. Shibori will explore Japanese-style pole wrapping and painting scarves. Salt, draws the dye to it, which creates interesting patterns and effects.
All supplies provided. A $36 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
