This one-hour yoga class will help children learn relaxation and meditation on their yogajourney. Children will learn breathing techniques, flowing yoga asanas (poses), guided relaxation with visuals, and mediation. Each student will learn to enhance focus and increase balancing skills. This yoga class will be held in conjunction with a one-hour slime workshop. The materials for both of these classes are provided!

Experimentation and exploration of techniques and subject matter will be achieved through the use of various media including pencil and charcoal. This class works from the principal elements of drawing including the study of line, shape, value and composition. Methods of instruction will include drawing from direct observation and various exercises designed to sharpen individual perception. This class is designed for ages 10-14 with an interest in drawing and sketching.

Do you like colorful abstract art? Would you like to paint without limitations? Then this is the class for you. Instructor will teach students how to use fluid acrylics using the pour method to create free flowing abstract art on canvas. Students will learn how to do the flip cup pour, circle pour, Dutch pour, and creating different designs using string, a sink strainer, and modeling paste. No experience needed. Please wear old clothing as this is a very messy technique. All supplies included. Materials fee included in price

Paint your own personal masterpiece using the basic fundamentals of painting, including composition, value, color, lights, and shadows. Painting made easy using these guidelines while developing your own style.

Work on your drawing, painting and paper sculpture skills this summer! This class is a concentrated two day/week class. Each week we will explore different aspects of painting and drawing. We will discuss the basic vocabulary, learn basic techniques and explore how light and shadow work in both drawing and painting. Each class we will have critiques to talk about what we learned in class.

Donated funds to this program will cover the fees for children's classes, camps and art supplies of local talented children (grades K`12) nominated by teachers who believe their student(s) would benefit from the arts.
This winter recipient Delia, 6th grade received her scholarship to use towards any of our Youth Classes at the La Grange Art League.
