Friday Night Art Club - December
A safe creative space for teens
Fridays 6:30 - 8:30pm. $30 per week.

Come to a safe, relaxing space and creative place to hang out while doing art on Friday nights. Students will have access to the upstairs studio art supplies (including illustrator markers, paints, and all other supplies) or are welcome to bring their own supplies including iPads with apple pens, and procreate. Age 8th grade up.

One-Day Workshop: Comic Book Challenge

Date: Saturday, 1/13/24
1 -4pm
Limit 12 students
Youth ages 10-14
This introductory workshop presents a challenge to students -- a problem to solve, and they have to draw their way out. The purpose is to fully exercise the student's imagination with this challenge and then sketch up their solution in the form of comic book panels and pages to visually tell the story of their solution. Students should bring their favorite method of sketching, whether it's their regular paper drawing pad and pencils/pens/markers, or drawing tablet and stylus. Either way, there'll be a lot of drawing, as the student tackles the challenge.
Parents must complete a youth waiver for each registrant. The waiver can be filled online here:

This class is an enjoyable way to start your sketch practice. Students will learn to draw through observations, discerning values, and drawing skills. Most importantly, Christina will teach students to "think like an artist" while making it fun to learn and explore their own style.
