 Think of a person you love who is either still with you or who has passed.  What symbols and metaphors, colors and visuals immediately come to your mind when you think of this person? Is it a photo, fabric, beads, journal pages, a place or shapes... We will create mixed media art reflecting your story with this person.  The class will begin an introduction to the day.

This workshop invites you to explore self-expression, healing, and reflection through the creative process. Together we will use mixed media art as a way to honor love, memory, and loss—transforming personal symbols into meaningful visual metaphors. 

Together we will enjoy a space that is creative, insightful, reflective, and restorative, as we transform memory and emotion into an Art Story you created through Mixed Media Art.

SUPPLY LIST:
 Please bring a 12” x 18” canvas, along with acrylic paints & brushes.  Also, bring anything that reminds your loved one.

Maybe your medium is oil/chalk pastels, colored pencils & pens, watercolors, painting tools, glue, or any other objects & mixed media elements that carry meaning for your story that you would like to incorporate on your canvas, please bring those along as well if you like.

ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTOR

Christine is a driven, passionate Healthcare & Creativity Chaplain, Visual Artist (Painting, Mixed Media, Digital, Photography). She is also a Graphic Designer and Art/Creative Director.

Also, Christine is a professional home hospice chaplain, and trauma/crisis hospital chaplain, providing spiritual & emotional support & care, empathic listening, Prayer ~ Meeting her patients, families, & staff where they are. She also provides grief counseling, pet therapy, and art therapy in pre-bereavement and post bereavement. Christine is committed to and intense about what she loves to do!
