Oil pastels are an easy and fun way to paint. This course will show you how to apply, blend, and layer colors to make beautiful paintings. You’ll also learn a bit about color theory, drawing, and composition.

These pastels are a relatively new medium in the art world. They were created by the French art materials manufacturer Sennelier at the request of Henri Goetz who introduced it to Pablo Picasso.

Sennelier created an oil-based stick of color rich in pigment and soft enough to blend on any surface including canvas, paper, cardboard, or glass.
If you want to learn how to paint, this course will be a fun way to start your journey.
