There is a $30 supply fee due at first class for shared materials and special projects
Student Supply list:
-3-4 panels to work on, no larger than 12x16, perhaps one larger and a few small. Hardboard or birch will work, cradled boards are recommended. White ground is recommended unless you want the wood showing through
-plants and flowers picked from your yard, collect things that are over grown, etc. I will bring lots, but we also will go through a good bit.
-x-acto knife and blades / ruler or T-square
- self healing cutting mat (optional)
- jar of matte gel medium or pva glue. I am partial to the working properties of Liquitex matte gel medium
-scissors
- spray bottle
-roll of 1” 3m blue painters tape or masking tape
-a roll of shop or Viva paper towels
-paint brushes for acrylic
-a few foil roasting pans from the grocery store for paper/fabric prep baths or if you have ones that are already studio items you use for other things, bring those
-any acrylic paint you might have laying around, I will bring some as well
-notebook
-papers; anything you have sitting around and may want to work with, I will have lots to share as well
-pressed & dried plant material (optional)
-dimensional items for assemblage (optional)
-rusty items to print with (optional)
