In celebration of Kathi's birthday on 12/22, Starts with Art presented Grace Housing Complex with a check for $1000 for art supplies to be distributed in low-income areas of Chicago. Grace Housing Complex is an economic and community development organization focused on providing low-income families with supportive services, personal development opportunities, and affordable housing access within the greater Chicago-land area. Through the implementation of their programs, the aim is to create: stable, safe, and healthy communities. This donation will be used to supply tote bags, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, sketchbook/composition books paper, construction paper/watercolor paper, glue, supply boxes, and erasers. Follow their good work on Facebook or Twitter or check out their website at www.gracehousingcomplex.org .
