The ART of the Sketchbook:

Advance your work dramatically by freeing yourself from the notion of making the perfect painting. Explore basic value structure, thumbnail compositions and simplification freely and without judgment. Make this practice THE thing that will move your creativity forward.

Pen, Pencil, Marker, Gouache, or Watercolor.

Photo references will be needed. Ideally your own photo references. These can be on your phone or printed out on paper. Alternatively, my photo references will be printed out for your use each week, or you can use provided art books for reference, crediting said artist.
