A supply fee for Materials is $40, payable to the instructor with cash or Zelle

This includes a 14 inch acacia wood tray, glass & Ceramic tile, glue, glass paint, grout and tools.

Limit of 5 specialty tiles per tray.  Additional tiles are .80 each

Course Description:

Make Your Own Mosaic + Bring Your Own Beverage!  Gather your friends, bring your favorite drink, and enjoy a social night of creating mosaics.

Create a one-of-a-kind mosaic tray featuring an interlocking geometric design with an Art Deco-inspired feel. Each student will begin by selecting a color palette that reflects their own personal style. Using mostly 1-inch square glass tiles, along with a variety of other tile sizes, shapes, and patterns for accents and visual interest, you will arrange the tiles into a unique, structured design.

Specialty themed tiles—including sea creatures, forest animals, and other decorative accents—will also be available for students who want to add a playful or personal touch. Students may also paint a simple design on larger 2-inch accent tiles, adding another opportunity to make their mosaic uniquely their own.

Explore your creativity through your choices of tile, color, proportion placement, and painted accents.

Choose a subtle monochromatic palate, harmonious neighboring colors, bold complementary contrasts, rich art deco-inspired jewel tones, sophisticated neutrals, or a bright contemporary combination.

Thursday, October 22, 6:00PM to 8:30PM.  Feel free to come by at 5:30 to get a head start.  The evening will consist of choosing color tiles, designing and glueing.  Option to paint 2 inch tiles with glass paint to incorporate in your design.
